Registration for swim team will be held May 16, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sandston Pool.  Save $5 off your registration cost if you sign up on May 16th.  Registration cost is $65.00 for Sandston Pool members and $135.00 for nonmembers.  Individuals DO NOT have to be a member of the pool to participate on the swim team. The first practice is Tuesday May 29, 2018 at 6:00pm.  You must attend three practice sessions per week.  Swim meets are held on Monday nights beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ribbons are presented Tuesday night after our Fun Practice!

New this year is the Pre-Swim Team to prepare younger, less experienced swimmers for Swim Team.  This is group lessons for developing swimmers to learn the basic technique of all strokes.  Swimmers should be confident in the water on their own, but may lack the ability to swim the full length of the pool.  Swimmers may be elevated to full Swim Team level during the season at the discretion of the coach.  Pre-Swim Team lessons will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays 6:00-6:30pm for six weeks, June 20 - July 24, 2018.  The cost is $40 for members, $110 for non-members and an additional $20 due if moved up to Swim Team.

There are six meets total with three of them being home meets.  The home meets are scheduled for Monday, June 25th and Monday, July 9th, 2018. .  Dates can be found on our swim team site at http://sandstonstingrays.weebly.com  or JRAC's website at www.jracsummerswim.org.
