EVENTS AND FUNCTIONS

Sandston Pool offers a variety of events throughout the swim season.  Some of these events are open to the community and do not require membership to the pool.  ​

SWIM LESSONS

 

Sandston Pool offers swim lessons by Red Cross certified instructors for both members and non-members of our pool.  Additionally, we offer a strokes and turns conditioning class for those interested in perfecting their skills for swim team.

SWIM TEAM

​We participate in the James River Aquatic Club (JRAC) Association.  Membership is not required to join swim team

 

 Registration for the 2018 Swim Team will be held

May 16, from 6:00 -  8:00 p.m.  If you register on May 16th, member cost is $60 and non-member is $130.

​

 Registration cost is $65 for pool members and $135 for non-members.  ​Additional details available on our swim team page.

New this year is the Pre-Swim Team for younger, less experienced swimmers.  Swimmers should be confident in the water on their own but are still not able to swim the full length of the pool.  Swimmers may be eligible to upgrade to the Swim Team during the season at the coaches discretion.  Cost will be $40 for members and $60 for non-members with an additional $20 due if moved up to the Swim Team.
